Although few surveys have recently revealed a progressive trend in the real estate market, a new report, the Harris Poll for Freddie Mac, states that renters are no longer interested in saving to buy a home. Several reasons can be the cause of their apprehensive approach.  It is primarily related to the unaffordability of homes and the rising interest rates. As noted by popular real estate investing firm, NRIA, rising rents are also making it difficult to save money for a down payment.
